KNTV

Koninklijke Nederlandse Toonkunstenaars Vereniging (KNTV);
in English: Royal Dutch Musician’s Union.

Since its founding in 1875, the KNTV cares for the interests of professional musicians working in the field of performing arts and/or education.
The support and service go far beyond the usual activities of a regular labour union. Individual matters are as important as collective interests; tailor made advice for individuals is matched to general professional information.

As a union, the KNTV operates more generous than just caring for the interests of its members: the needs and interests of the entire music field are looked after. Taking up this role, the KNTV alerts issues and initiates debates in relation to matters concerning performing arts and musical education (the latter stretching from primary schools to conservatories).

The KNTV is an independent and neutral organisation and does not operate from a specific political or religious background. Its membership shows a truthful reflection of society.
